The Mozells were an all-girl band from the Los Angeles area. Led by songwriter Lisa Mychols ( a.k.a. Jasmine Wilde) on lead vocals and bass. The other members were Hillary Burto on drums and I don't know the name of the guitarist. Lisa went on to join the Mockers/Beatbirds and eventually recorded a few solo albums. My copy of these demos are in less than stellar quality, but I love them and hope you enjoy them also.

The Mozells demo has all that wonderful static noise between and before the tracks start. Why, that is the sound of tape!
It's the sound that accompanied my ears through so many nights of analog dubbing. So much dubbing--so much mailing. Life was so simple then...
